Lone leaf
At work, TreesI tried to capture that this lonely leaf is the only one on this entire apple tree (which is apparently a descendant of the famous Newtonian one). I don’t think I quite succeeded, but I couldn’t come up with any better ideas. It should be there still when I see it again, so please give me any suggestions you might have.

At work, Close up, TreesThis half a stump is the remains of a tired little tree that fell victim to a storm last year. By memory it was a Melaleuca (Paperbark).

The title of this picture references Play School, the children’s show here that everyone grows up with, which has a segment where we look through one a few different shaped windows to a mini-documentary of everyday life (if I recall correctly). This is what I was reminded of when I saw this structure.

At work, TreesThis is the view from my office window when the golden light hits. I’m looking forward to a good week of work, and since it’s Dan (and Ben’s) birthday tomorrow there’ll be brownies to kick it off. It can’t go wrong.
